of the Scala Days Conference 2019

Dear Speaker, welcome to the online registration platform for the 10-Year Anniversary of the Scala Days Conference taking place at EPFL, in Lausanne from 11th to 13th June 2019. We reserved rooms for Scala Days speakers in hotels next to EPFL (SwissTech and Starling hotel), through this platform you will be able to book the reserved rooms. Speaker dinner will take place on a boat, cruising down the Léman lake, on Tuesday 11th June, sponsored by our Swiss platinum sponsor Sqooba. We will send all details in due time.

 

The SwissTech Convention Center will host the conference, whereas side events will take place throughout the week of 10th June in various places. Stay tuned, follow us @scaladays! This year Scala Days has plenty exciting social events planned, such as the first evening reception at the venue, brought to you by Signify. Community dinner at The Olympic Museum, brought to you by Lunatech, city, and vineyard tours, thanks to our Platinum sponsors, with no extra cost!

Families and partners are encouraged to join. Daycare, lunches, and social events will be covered in case you opt in for an “accompanying ticket”. Daycare information are on-demand, please send us an email to info@scaladays.org.

General information

 

Payment
All prices on this platform exclude VAT, which is 7.7%. Registration fees must be paid by credit card during the registration process. If you would like to pay by bank transfer, please contact Mrs Botros at botros@lausanne-tourisme.ch 

Workshops
Workshops are taking place on 10 and 11 June 2019 from 9 am to 5 pm and are limited to 20 participants per workshop. They run at the same time on the same dates, you can choose only one by paying an additional fee. Once the workshops are full, we will put you on a waiting list.

Student
Student tickets are limited to 50. If you wish to register as a student, you will be asked to provide proof of your student status by sending a scanned copy of your student card to botros@lausanne-tourisme.ch 

*Accompanying person 
The registration fees for accompanying persons are CHF 400 and include lunches during the conference, excursions and the community dinner. Kindly note that the accompanying person cannot attend the scientific program. 

Visa - invitation letter
If you need an invitation letter for your visa application procedure, please contact Mrs Nora Botros at botros@lausanne-tourisme.ch. You will receive the invitation letter after the registration and the payment.
Please submit your visa application early as it can take between six and eight weeks to process, or exceptionally even longer, depending on the season.

Already registered?
If you wish to come back to your registration, please use your direct login link which is in your confirmation email. 

 

Registration cancellation policy

 

To cancel your registration, please send a written note to botros@lausanne-tourisme.ch 

• 100% refund up until 28 May included
• 50% refund from 29 May to 4 June included  
• No refund from 5 June 

All reimbursements will be processed after the conference.
