The first ISOPOW Symposium was organised in Glasgow, Scotland in 1974 with focus on Water Relations in Foods. Since then ISOPOW meetings have promoted the exchange of knowledge of the role of water in foods, pharmaceuticals and biological systems. ISOPOW Symposia have a strong participation of industry and have been an important platform for a dialogue between academic and industrial scientists and technologists.

Conference Venue & Social events
The symposium will take place at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. The venue is overlooking the Alps and Lake Geneva. The welcome cocktail will occur in the permanent exhibition of the museum and the gala dinner on a cruise. Post-symposium excursions between few hours and 2 days will be available to discover famous Swiss attractions, such as the Lavaux vineyards protected by UNESCO, the cheese region of Gruyère or the iconic mountain of Zermatt.

Payment
Registration and activity fees must be paid for by credit card during the registration process. Payment for hotels will be taken upon check-in on arrival day.

Students
Note that a valid student card is required if you register as 'Student' (copy to be scanned to vaucher@lausanne-tourisme.ch or faxed to 0041 21 616 86 47).

Registration Cancellation Policy

To cancel your registration to ISOPOW 2016, please send a written notice to vaucher@lausanne-tourisme.ch

• Up to 8 June 2016: Registration fees will be reimbursed minus 20% for administrative fees.
• After 8 June 2016 : No fees will be reimbursed.

All reimbursements will be processed after the conference.
