The city of Lausanne is easily reached by direct train (45 min, 4x per hour) from Geneva International Airport.

How to get there by public transportation ?
If you are staying in a hotel, you will receive a free transportation card (Lausanne Transport Card) which allows you to use the Lausanne public transportation for free!
The SwissTech Convention Center is easily reached by public transportation from the city of Lausanne.

From Lausanne city center (Place de l'Europe, Flon)

• Metro M1, direction "Renens CFF" - stop at "EPFL" station. The metro stops in front ot the convention center.

From Geneva International Airport to Lausanne train station 

• 4 Direct trains per hour (approx. 45 min.), please refer to the trains schedule mentioned below.

How to get there by car ?

From Geneva 

• Take the A1 freeway to Lausanne.
• At the interchange 17-Ecublens, keep left and follow signs for Lausanne-Sud/Lausanne-Ouchy/Lausanne-Centre.
• Take exit 2-St-Sulpice toward St-Sulpice/Ecublens
• Continue on Route 1 and then drive to Rue Louis Favre in Ecublens. 

From Lausanne city center (Lausanne Flon)

• Continue to Avenue Jules Gonin
• Follow Route 1 to Allée de Savoie in Ecublens
• Drive to Rue Louis Favre

The Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies conference will be held at the SwissTech Convention Center which is near the EPFL/UNIL and 15-20 minutes away of the city centre of Lausanne.

Hotel cancellation and modification policy

Hotel rates are in Swiss Francs (CHF) per room, per night, including VAT and service. Please note that breakfast is only included when duly mentioned. The city tax is not included and ranges from CHF 2.60 to CHF 4.20 per person and per night, depending on the hotel category.

In order to guarantee hotel reservation, credit card details will be requested from each participant. The credit card will only be charged in case of cancellation or no-show.

Rooms cannot be booked without providing credit card information. Payment must be made at the hotel upon arrival.

In case of cancellation, the following terms will apply:

More than 3 days before arrival date: no cancellation fees
Less than 3 days from check-in date: 100% of the total reservation
No-show: 100% of the total reservation.
