How to get to the congress venues

The venue of the 9th International Granulation Workshop 2019 on the first two days (26th and 27th June) is Lausanne Palace: Rue du Grand-Chêne 7-9, 1003 Lausanne. 

In the morning of the 28th June, the scientific program will continue at Nestlé Research Vers-chez-les-Blanc: Route du Jorat 57, Vers-chez-les-Blanc, 1000 Lausanne 26.
 

How to get there by public transportation ?

The Lausanne Transport Card gives any guest staying in Lausanne and paying the overnight “taxe de séjour” free and unrestricted access to all public transport services in the city (bus, train, metro). It is valid for the duration of the reservation, including the arrival and departure days (maximum 15 days). Furthermore, upon presentation of your Lausanne Transport Card, some partners offer up to 50 % discount! 
 

Lausanne Palace:

From Geneva International Airport to Lausanne Palace

• 3-4 trains per hour (approx. 1h min. from Geneva Airport to Renens Gare, one change either in Geneva or in Morges), please refer to the trains schedule mentioned below.
• When you arrive at Lausanne Gare train station, take the metro M2, direction "Croisettes" - stop at "Lausanne Flon" station.
• Lausanne Palace is 500 metres away from the « Lausanne Flon » station. At the station, take the lift. You arrive next to the « Rue du Grand-Chêne » and Lausanne Palace is in front of you.
• Lausanne Palace is also accessible by foot from the train station (approximately 10 minutes). Go up "Rue du Petit-Chêne", which is in front of the train station. At the end of the street, turn left and walk 20 meters. Lausanne Palace is on your left.

From Zurich International Airport to Lausanne Palace

• 2 direct trains per hour (approx. 2.30 hours), please refer to the trains schedule mentioned below. Please note that it is much shorter to arrive from Geneva Airport to get to Lausanne.
• When you arrive at Lausanne main train station (Lausanne Gare), take the metro M2, direction "Croisettes" - stop at "Lausanne Flon" station.
• Lausanne Palace is 500 metres away from the « Lausanne Flon » station. At the station, take the lift. You arrive next to the « Rue du Grand-Chêne » and Lausanne Palace is in front of you.

• When you are at Lausanne main train station (Lausanne Gare), take the metro M2, direction "Croisettes" - stop at "Croisettes" station.
• Then, take the bus N°64, direction "Chalet-à-Gobet", stop at "Chalet-à-Matthey"

How to get there by car ?

Lausanne Palace:

Address of the venue : Lausanne Palace, Rue du Grand Chêne 7-9, 1003 Lausanne.

From Geneva International Airport to Lausanne Palace (50 minutes)

• Take the "Route Douanière"
• In the roundabout, take the first exit D 1005
• Keep on driving on the "Route de Ferney"
• ​In the roundabout, take the second exit
• Keep on driving on the highway A1
• Check and take the exit "Lausanne Sud"
• In the first roundabout, take the second exit (Avenue des Figuiers). In the second roundabout, take the third exit on the « Avenue du Mont-d’Or ». After 100 meters, turn left on « Chemin du Reposoir » and then, turn again left on « Avenue Marc-Dufour ».
• At the end of the "Avenue Marc Dufour", go left on "Avenue Louis Ruchonnet and then right on « Avenue Jules Gonin » (600 meters).
• Lausanne Palace is on the right side. A large pay and display car park can be used 24/7.

From Lausanne city center (Lausanne Flon) to Lausanne Palace (3 minutes)

• Take « Avenue Jean-Jacques Mercier ». At the end of the street, turn left on « Avenue Jules Gonin ».
• Follow « Avenue Jules Gonin » (350 meters).
• Lausanne Palace is on the the right side. A large pay and display car park can be used 24/7.
   

Nestlé Research Vers-chez-les-Blanc:

Address of the venue : Nestlé Research Vers-chez-les-Blanc, Route du Jorat 57, Vers-chez-les-Blanc, 1000 Lausanne 26

• Leave the highway at "Lausanne-Vennes/Hôpitaux" exit
• Follow the direction Berne-Moudon
• After 4km, take the exit Savigny/Vers-chez-les-Blanc and follow the road sign "Centre de Recherche Nestlé"
